Description:
Remove and organize parts from steel sheets and record progress
The following duties will be required but not limited to:
• Safely remove parts from steel sheets
• Stack and organize parts for the next operations.
• Use hand tools to remove any tabbing or scale.
• Analyze each piece for surface quality defects.
• Accurately record completed work on computer.
• Able to work in groups or teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Forklift experience
• Previous experience in manufacturing
• Print reading experience is beneficial.
• Basic math
• Good communication skills are a must.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs. repeatedly.
• Familiar with Microsoft Windows
Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Material Handler/Forklift Operator
Shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Fridays are reserved for mandatory OT when applicable)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay Range: $18-20/hr. DOE
Description:
Handling finished goods and work in process (WIP) with standing forklifts, pallet jacks, as well as by hand to safely transfer product to its correct location. You will also assist on the kitting line, as well as helping to feed parts to other departments for next step processing.
The following duties will be required but not limited to:
• Practice smart operating techniques to ensure the safety of the entire team.
• Use Metalworks warehouse software to accurately log where product is located.
• Pick orders with standing forklifts and pallets jacks and load trucks according to schedule.
• Hand sort and stack parts when necessary
• Wrap and package product coming out of production departments.
• Unload inbound trucks and place in warehouse utilizing warehouse software.
• Fill out trailer logs to ensure accurate load information.
• Visually inspect parts that are picked for any rust or noticeable flaws.
• Pulling non-conforming inventory and placing in quarantine location with proper labeling
• Accurate job progress data recording (both handwritten as well as through Metalworks ERP system)
You will be provided on the job training.
A least two years of Forklift and warehousing experience is preferred.
Press Brake Operator
Press Brake Operator
First Shift: 5:30A-4PM Monday- Thursday (Friday is mandatory OT when applicable)
Second Shift: 4PM-2:30A Monday-Thursday, Friday is reserved for likely OT.
Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $17-$20 DOE
The following duties will be required but not limited to:
• Set-up of hydraulic CNC Press Brakes.
• Forming parts to print and documenting progress.
• Maintaining efficiency in high volume environment.
• Maintaining minimum or preferably zero scrap levels.
• Identifying material defects throughout the runs.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. repetitively for 10/hr. shifts.
Required Qualifications:
• 2 years minimum experience in Press Brake or similar machine operation
• Previous experience in manufacturing
• Print reading experience is beneficial.

Laser Operator
Laser Operator
First Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:30 AM-4PM (Friday is mandatory OT when applicable)
Second Shift: 2PM-12:30PM
Job Type: Full Time
Pay Range: $19 - $20 DOE
The following duties will be required but not limited to:
• Practice smart operating techniques to ensure your safety as well as co-workers safety.
• Follow machine schedule objectives given by supervisor to ensure production goals are met each day.
• Set-up and part inspection across each cell.
• Troubleshooting automation errors both mechanical and program related.
• Perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance as necessary.
• Become proficient with material handling software as well as WIP and raw material locations.
• Become forklift certified to handle product going in and coming off the machines (Certification provided by Metalworks).
Second Shift: You will be provided on the job training that will occur during the normal Mon – Thurs (5:30am – 4:00pm) work week until you are ready to transition to second shift. This however is not a pre-determined time. You will transfer once we feel you are ready.
Experience will be necessary for these positions. If you do not have specific experience with the operation of the equipment we are hiring for, general manufacturing experience may be sufficient.
CDL Class A Driver and Warehouse
CDL Class A Driver and Warehouse
Shift: Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM (Friday is for mandatory OT when applicable) You will be home every night!

Description:
Safely transfer product to and from Metalworks facilities as well as a couple regional locations using all types of delivery vehicles within our fleet. This position will also share warehouse responsibilities with the rest of the team.
The following duties will be required but not limited to:
• Practice smart operating techniques to ensure your safety, co-workers’ safety as well as the safety of the public.
• Maintain a valid Class A CDL with up-to-date medical card.
• Transport product between Metalworks facilities as well as to and from vendors using tractor trailers (53’), flatbed trailers, and pickup trucks. Actual windshield time may only be about 50% of your time.
• Assist in prepping and tagging of product at either facility. Loading and unloading work in process (WIP) with forklifts and pallet jacks as well as picking orders and loading trailers for deliveries
• Deliver product to customers in a polite and professional manner with the understanding that you are the face that is representing Metalworks during those times.
• Verifying part numbers and counts on packing lists as it is being unloaded by customer to ensure document accuracy and quality.
• Become forklift certified to handle product going in and coming off the machines (Certification provided by Metalworks).
You will be provided on the job training with “ride a long” to get you familiarized with all locations associated with Metalworks local customer and vendor base.
Experience is required for our CDL A positions. Requirements are a minimum of 1-year CDL A driving experience, or certification from a credited truck driver training program.

Description:
Metalworks is looking for a motivated, production-minded individual with a passion for quality to join the welding department. As a Welder you will be responsible for creating a quality product while meeting production goals.
The following duties will be required but not limited to:
• Reading blueprints and drawings and taking measurements to verify quality production.
• Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
• Operate angle grinders to prepare/finish the welded parts.
• Align components using fixtures, calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal)
• Set up/operate Robotic Welding cells.
• Provide continuous improvement feedback to help increase productivity.
Required Skills:
• Experience using MIG and/or TIG equipment.
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing.
• Attention to detail with an emphasis on quality and production efficiency.
Minimum Qualifications:
• AAS in Welding Technology or two years of welding experience
• Proficient in English
• Professional Certification (e.g., an AWS welding certificate) a plus!

Description:
The purpose of a Robot Welding Operator is to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all robotically automated welding cells at our Air Park location. This shift is intended to help level load the welding department to minimize and ultimately eliminate the need for OT. These team members will be responsible for set-up, operation and troubleshooting of all automated cells. Although the shift will start out small, it does have the possibility to develop into a larger team depending on workload and team performance.

Description:
As an assembly line technician, you will be responsible for one station on an assembly line per shift. You will need to work at a steady pace that keeps up with the assembly line's other stations. Previous assembly line experience is preferred but not required. You will need to possess a mechanical aptitude and have much experience with hand, and power tools. You will be working closely with your team to ensure the highest quality products as possible, all while keeping safety your #1 priority. There will be a line lead/supervisor that you will report to daily and will assist in your training.

• Training on various pieces of equipment both CNC and manual
• Learn Metalworks Quality Management System
• Machine set-up and operation
• Provide continuous improvement feedback to help increase productivity.
Required Skills:
• Experience in machining or similar manufacturing processes
• Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective equipment.

• Must be a strong communicator.
